This tool has been around for at least four years in one iteration or another. The tool is well made with very good materials. It is robust and accurate when properly assembled. The instructions are decipherable to a degree but could have been improved by this vendor IMO. The instructions for this model began on page 24.One difference in this model to its older versions is that the fence has been made more robust and adjustable to obtain perfect square to the blade of the table saw as well to the table of the saw itself. It is a bit heavy as a result, but that is OK in my book. I encountered a very minor bit of movement when using any preset notch but filing just a very little off of the tip of the set "pointer" that engages the preset notches eliminated this issue. I tried to eliminate the 6" long block that the long arm of the miter gauge mounts to, but I lost the ability to make the face of the long miter arm square to the table. Re-mounting the short block fixed this out of square condition.All-in-all, A great improvement to my saw at a good price point. Another benefit to me is that this tool avoids being over-"fiddley" as in some other options out there.
