I picked this up to create a pfSense box. No issues at all. I did notice it could run a little hot at times when using full IPS enabled. I decided to check the motherboard for fan headers. There was a CPU header location but not headers, so I cleared the solder from the blank wholes, added my own header, drilled a hole in the side of the case and ran a 120mm fan to the outside at the top. Then I used the right diameter and length screws to mount the (BeSilent) fan to the exterior fins including a fan cover to protect against spinning blades. It works just great. It was likely not necessary, but I like the idea of running at cooler temperatures and better thermal management. I have the i5 cpu unit.
