After reading the reviews on this (I should know better), I was hesitant to purchase these bits for fear of wasting my money. I currently do freehand drawing on wood with a compact router and only have a 1/8" and 1/16" bit in my arsenal. I needed something finer for my detail work and this seemed to offer the best option in terms of price. Again, I was hesitant due to the reviews and this being a 1/32" bit. May I state that this is a fine bit and requires extra special care when handling and using (speed and depth of cut). I tested one bit as soon as I got them and while these cut through MDF easily, plywood and hardwood are a little more rigid material and require less force. I could feel the drag on the router with the harder wood and just slowed down my path versus powering through it. The router is more than capable of plowing through these pieces with a larger bit, but with a bit this fine you cannot rush it. If you intend to brutalize these bits with a heavy hand, you can plan on them breaking. I have been able to only use one bit so far on three different projects and it has yet to break. Patience and finesse make these work phenomenally. I will definitely buy them again if need be.I use this product for milling wood. Worked great! The cutters work great and for the price you cant go wrong!I like the product I can find lots of good uses for them,Needs a magnifying glass to read the descriptions on the side overall knowing the right metals to use them on ,When I reach for them to use on my mill and putting on packing would be a good thingOverall these little end mills did great if put it at 5 stars but I had a few break on me. For the price they are great but I would invest in a higher quality bit for future aluminum milling. Cut quality is ok as you can see from my picture I started with 6061 aluminum and then attempted a brass bar the finish is ok for what I need as I made my own heat brand using my 2018 1000x1000mm xcarve feom invenatbles running these bits on a DeWalt 611 router. Would I buy these again would depend on the project but for the price you can’t beat itjust needed to do a couple small slit. this did the job with no discernable wear or chipping.Work great for detail work and another edges on mdf. Seem to dull a little quicker than I would like. Would buy again.Comes in decent case and worked well on a few carves in walnut and hard maple.does what I need it to. Very good, would recommend.Get your speeds and feeds right and you will be fine
